Photography and Videography Section

The Section monitors the following:

1-      Activities of the president, deans, faculty members and administrative departments.

2-      Academic, cultural, athletic, and Activities inside and outside the campus of the university, including festivals, art exhibitions, and other ceremonies.

3-      New and under-construction buildings of the university, in addition to a variety of scenes from the campus and its facilities.

4-      Monitoring the programs/ courses conducted by the faculties and the consultative centre of the university.

5-      Photographing the graduates, members of the teaching staff, and the workers for purposes of issuing the annual Book of the University.

6-      Photographing the guests and visiting delegates and organizing a special archive of these events.

7-      Providing the media with photos of activities, facilities, and events of the university.

8-      Participating in the Committee of Mustering New Students.

9-      Participating in the Committee of Graduating.

10-  Processing the publication of the annual University Book and following up the issuing of Isra News Bulletin in print.

11-  Reception of university guests in Amman Airport and seeing them to their hotels.

12-  Participating in the propagation activities for publicizing the university inside and outside the country, as in exhibitions and universities. 

Section of Internal Relations and Activities

 

Tasks Of the internal relations and activities unit:

  1. Taking part in the organizing committees for conferences, symposium, exhibitions and festivals held at the University.
  2. Taking part in committees in charge of organizing convocations, events. Inside and outside the University.
  3. Organizing all sorts of visits official, public, and students to the University.   
  4. Activating the promotion process jointly with the Quality Assurance Unit to guarantee quality.
  5. Providing local newspaper with the University news (condolences and compliments)
  6. Taking care of catering services.
  7. Coordinating with the University security to welcome visitors.
  8. Organizing all events held by the University faculties and departments.
  9. Taking care of medals and appreciation certificates awarded by the University
  10.  Coordinating with the students Deanship regarding all activities and events held at the auditorium.
  11. Coordinating with the computer center regarding all arrangements necessary for activities and events.

Section of Follow up and Arrangements

 
1.    Coordination with faculties concerning the following items:

  • Required Statements which should be published in local journals.
  • Organizing festivals and activities of the faculties and ensuring all requirements.
  • Meeting guests visiting University  public utilities.

2.    Coordination with various offices concerning the following items.

  • Cooperating with the University security especially guests entrance to the university.
  • Coordinating with the University restaurant in order to achieve good reception and hospitality.
  • Coordination with computing center in order to secure activities requirements.
  • Coordination with Students affairs deanship, concerning activities and preparation of the theatre.

3.    Coordination with the local community:

  • Carrying out correspondence and communication through local  and field visits.
  • Calling for  festivals and activities inside the University.
  • Exchange of visits and meetings between the university and institutions of local community.

Section of Advertisement

Tasks Of the information Unit:

  1. Full coverage of University activities, news and Proceedings.
  2. Providing mass media with the University news and activities, illustrating its mission.
  3. Arranging mass media interviews with the University President, deans and writing news about the University.
  4. Collecting data about the University faculties and department to get them Published by mass media
  5. Documenting all news, interviews, bulletins, magazines and Photographs relevant to the University activities.
  6. Publishing information report covering all the news and activities Published by Ministry Of Higher Education ,on Isra University and other Jordanian Universities in the newspapers in addition to keeping an archive.
  7. Taking past in all information activities and promoting Isra University both at the local and international levels.

The contribution  and engagement to  enhance the human civilization in the area of development and progression   throughout  the creation of  special and extraordinary  environment  to facilitate to  prepare  the individual  scientifically, technically, and culturally,  in order to enhance  an  individual who is proficient and eligible to make the university a leader and pioneer in different fields. In addition, to make him knowledgeable to broadcast the    knowledge and support the professional training and also scientific research.

 

·       Mission:

Building  a high-quality representation  of the university from  internally as well as externally in order to  catch the attention of more students to admit  and register to the university, and also, facilitate the duties of academic  and administrative members in order to achieve the main objectives of the university.

 

 

About Us


This Department has been created since the establishment of the university in 1991, and is considered as the widow of the university to internal audience and represented by the academic and administrative members and also students and it is the connection with the regional and international community for its efforts to maintain the university’s progress and development throughout facilitating our needs that serve the university’s viewpoint. It has an enthusiastic to keep people from inside an outside the university updated about all different news and activities.

  • Department of media.
  • Organization and follow-up section.
  • The photography section.

The department of cultural and public relation in its philosophy depends on the following pillars:

  • Media documentation of activities and events organized on the university's website, websites and official daily newspapers.
  • Issuing bulletins such as the "Al-Isra Al-Israa" newsletter, the publication of the "Yearbook of Graduates" and the issuance of the university's brochures.
  • Receiving the delegations of the university and its visitors, preparing the programs of their visits, and following up all their needs.

Message From The Director

    


Isra University gives the culture and public relations unit top priority due to its vital role in depicting and reflecting the university image in serving the local community. Such unit is the ideal tool for creating relations between Isra University and the local community which in turn reflects positively on the university as a whole. Even since its establishment, this unit has played a vital role in shedding light on the excellent achievement of the university.

This, in turn, has helped in the process of polarization and presenting the proper image of this insulation. The unit was established in 1991.It aims to highlight the prominent scientific and academic position of the university and strengthen, relations with both local community as well as regional and international institutions. Special attention is paid to provide facilities and measures for holding forums, conferences, exhibitions and seminars held at the university either on its own or in collaboration with other bodies.

On the mass media level, the public Relations unit is keen to keep all those who are concerned informed of all sorts of significant functions held at Isra University. Such functions are covered by the Radio, TV, New Agencies and newspapers. Besides, some magazines and leaflets are published and circulated by this highly active unit.

This department is responsible for preparing specific cheques of financial affairs including:

- Preparing suppliers cheques.
- Preparing dues cheques for suppliers and remittance of graduate student’s dues.

3- Department Of Salaries

This department has a direct contact with officials in the university; its duty is to prepare dues of officials.
