Student Rama Wael Al-Hawajreh from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Isra University won second place in the Falling Walls Lab Jordan competition for her research project titled "Antibiotic Resistance." The competition was organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and featured a number of participants from various Jordanian universities.
For his part, during his meeting with student Rama Al-Hawajreh, His Excellency Professor Mohammad Hamed, President of Isra University, expressed his pride in Isra University's distinguished and outstanding students, such as Rama Al-Hawajreh, a third-year pharmacy student. His Excellency the President of the University emphasized the University's unwavering support for students to develop their creativity, skills, and talents. On this occasion, His Excellency the President commended the efforts of the Faculty of Pharmacy, represented by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Nihad Ayoub, and members of the faculty and administrative staff, which aim to develop students' skills in academic and extracurricular activities. The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Nihad Ayoub, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Makhlouf, Director of Cultural and Public Relations at the University, and the student's mother.
Student Rama expressed her happiness at this honor, which she considered an incentive to advance her academic career at the university, develop her skills, and enhance her hobbies, which center on scientific research and reading. The student emphasized that the idea for this project came from her participation two years ago in the "Isra Researcher" competition, with the follow-up and supervision of faculty members at the Faculty of Pharmacy. For her part, the student's mother expressed her pride in her daughter Rama's enrollment in this great academic institution and expressed her pride in the university's support for students at all levels.
