The Deanship of Student Affairs organized an awareness lecture delivered by Dr. Mohammad Al-Rawashdeh, Secretary-General of the Namaa Party. He spoke about the changes taking place in the global economy and their impact on the region and the Jordanian economy.

Dr. Al-Rawashdeh presented the party's vision for promoting political participation among youth, emphasizing that Jordanian youth are not a burden, as portrayed in some speeches, but rather a true force for change and development if they are empowered and involved in decision-making.

Al-Rawashdeh presented an in-depth economic analysis, addressing the most prominent challenges facing the global economy, including pressure on the dollar to decline, the movement of gold and oil markets, and the recent tariff measures adopted by the United States against various countries around the world. Dr. Al-Rawashdeh also presented the most prominent challenges facing the Jordanian economy, such as high unemployment rates among youth, the absence of policies based on fair distribution of opportunities, and the weak link between education and the labor market.

He also addressed the importance of building a productive national economy that reduces dependence on foreign exchange. It provides sustainable job opportunities by supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and creating a fair and stimulating legislative environment for entrepreneurship and innovation.

The meeting featured an open discussion with students, addressing issues of political, economic, and social reality and the importance of involving youth in formulating public policies, avoiding marginalization and exclusion. The meeting was attended by the Dean of Student Affairs at the university and a number of faculty members and students.
