His Excellency Professor Muhammad Hamid, President of Isra University, received Mr. Ansar Firat, Director of the Yunus Emre Institute, in his office on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
The visit aimed to strengthen academic and cultural relations between the two sides by offering Turkish language courses and courses for Isra University students and members of the local community through the Language Center at Isra University. The meeting also discussed ways to enhance opportunities for cultural and scientific exchange between Isra University and Turkish universities, which would contribute to enriching the student experience and expanding the horizons of international cooperation in educational and cultural fields. At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency the President of the University presented Mr. Firat with the Isra University Shield in appreciation of his efforts in strengthening academic and cultural cooperation. Following this, the guest toured the university campus, viewing the classrooms and the Language Center headquarters in the Faculty of Arts.
The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Inshad Juma, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs and International Projects, Dr. Bassam Al-Sa'ideen, Director of the Language Center, and Dr. Aseel Shubaikat, Director of the Public Relations Department.
