Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Mohammed Hamed, President of the University, the Center for Consulting, Training, Continuing Education, and Community Development at Isra University organized an introductory workshop entitled "Mechanisms and Conditions for Applying for Benefiting from the Industrial Research and Development Fund (IR&DF) and the National Fund for Enterprise Support (NAFES)," affiliated with the Higher Council for Science and Technology.

 

His Excellency the President of the University opened the workshop with a speech in which he welcomed the participants, emphasizing the importance of scientific research as a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development and cognitive advancement. He also highlighted the university's commitment to supporting and empowering researchers to take advantage of the opportunities provided by national funds and motivating them to develop quality projects that serve society and align with its priorities.

 

Engineer Abeer Ramadneh, Director of the Industrial Research and Development Fund, gave an introductory presentation on the areas of support and the application process. Engineer Moaz Al-Alaween, Director of the National Fund for Enterprise Support, also gave a presentation outlining the fund's objectives, services, and mechanisms for benefiting from it.

 

The workshop featured an introductory video about Isra University, as well as an open discussion session to answer attendees' questions.

 

This workshop is part of Isra University's efforts to strengthen partnerships with national support institutions and activate the role of scientific research and entrepreneurship in developing the academic and economic community.

 

In a related context, the delegation emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination in all matters related to creativity, innovation, and scientific research for the purpose of transferring knowledge between the two sides.

 

This visit comes as part of the Public Security Directorate's plan to open up and cooperate with all institutions and entities concerned with creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
