His Excellency the President of Isra University, Professor Mohammed Hamed, welcomed a delegation from the American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) in recent days, as part of the necessary procedures to obtain American international accreditation for the bachelor’s program. The visit lasted for four days, during which the delegation visited the university campus and the pharmaceutical training sites.
During the visit, the delegation met with the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Mera Ababneh, and the heads of departments in the faculty , They conducted a field tour of the departments and units of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the university, including the teaching and research laboratories, as well as the offices, classrooms, computer labs, and the virtual pharmacy affiliated with the faculty .
The tour also included visits to various facilities of the university such as the library, the Dean of Student Affairs office, sports halls, and the health centre.
The delegation visited some pharmaceutical sites and healthcare institutions where pharmacy students receive field training in pharmacies, hospitals, and factories. The delegation expressed admiration for the interviews with employers, graduate students, and prospective students. Additionally, the delegation met with faculty members in multiple sessions.
The visit concluded with a meeting with His Excellency the University’s President, where the delegation discussed some preliminary results .
