About the Faculty

The Faculty of Business is one of the prominent faculties in the university. It has started its academic career since the establishment of the university in 1991. It aims to improve and enhance the educational process and to raise the awareness of social, regional and global issues. The faculty has six academic departments, which are Accounting, Business Administration, Banking and Financial Management, Digital Marketing, Digital Logistics Management and management information systems. It also includes fully equipped laboratories for teaching practical application courses, with internet services for students. Business faculty includes a fully equipped theater for master dissertations defense, meetings, workshops and other activities organized by the faculty.

Language-

Arabic Language is the main language for teaching in the business faculty departments in addition some courses are taught in English.

I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Faculty of Business at Al-Isra University, which was established in 1991 to become one of the leading Faculties in university education and in preparing academic and professional leaders in the fields of finance and business.

The Faculty offers a Bachelor’s degree in a range of modern and diverse specializations, including Accounting, Business Administration, Financial and Banking Management, Management Information Systems, Digital Marketing, and Digital Logistics Management. It also offers Master’s degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, and Smart Business, reflecting its commitment to integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application and keeping pace with global developments in the business environment.

Since its establishment, the Faculty has consistently strived to graduate qualified professionals who possess critical thinking, analytical, and creative skills. Individuals capable of competing in the local, regional, and international job markets, and contributing effectively to the development of their communities and elevating them to the highest levels.

As part of its policy of continuous development and strategic planning, the Faculty is committed to updating its undergraduate and graduate programs in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation requirements, thereby strengthening the excellence and competitiveness of its graduates. The Faculty also plays a pioneering role in research aiming at addressing societal issues and proposing practical solutions, driven by its social responsibility and academic mission.

The Faculty is proud of its graduates, many of whom today hold leadership positions in public and private institutions at both the local and regional levels. It also takes pride in its distinguished group of faculty and administrative members, who form a fundamental pillar of its success and continued excellence.

The Faculty places special emphasis on extracurricular student activities which are designed to develop well-rounded personalities and refining students’ leadership and communication skills, thereby enhancing their readiness to enter the job market and contribute to building the national economy.

In conclusion, the Faculty of Business is proud to have obtained the Quality Assurance Certificate from the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions, in addition to its membership in the international AACSB organization for the development of business schools. The Faculty aspires to obtain more prestigious international accreditations as it continues its path of academic and research excellence and its commitment to enhancing students’ competencies to meet the requirements of the local, regional, and international job markets.

Objectives:

1. Computerization of all activities and activities of the Department.

2. Strengthen students' use of the web for the purpose of recording and accessing the academic records of students and activating academic guidance.

3. tStrengthen use of departments, colleges and faculty members of the electronic network to view the academic records of students and activate academic guidance.

4. Continuing follow-up to prepare the enrolled students according to the absorptive capacity.

5. Making efforts to educate students about the University's regulations and teaching and study instructions.

6. Documenting student academic records and updating them electronically.

7. Improve the work method by benefiting from the feedback from students and colleges and achieve work with high quality and accuracy.

8. To ease the difficulties faced by students during their studies within the limits of the powers of the Department and its terms of reference.

9. To provide the best care for the international students by introducing them to the university's systems and provide advice and guidance to them.

10. Raising the efficiency of employees in the department.

 

 

 

- Receiving and circulating the external mail to relevant destinations.
- Dealing with the files of the general outgoing mail by the registry head, getting them computerized, and filing all documents.
- Dealing with incoming external and internal mail files and getting them computerized and archived.
- Giving answers to queries regarding official letters and notes.
- Delivering outgoing mail to all faculties and institutions outside the University.
- Delivering urgent mail via Jordanian mail, relevant agents, and fax.
- Receiving and sending relevant faxes.
- Xeroxing incoming letters and notes and those which are dealt with by the president.
- Delivering mail after being signed by the president.
- Delivering mail to relevant circles.
- Notifying the legal adviser of all incoming judicial papers.
- The correspondence head oversees job vacancy directly.

1- Supervision and organization.
Supervision and organization of work process, dealing with shortages, and providing special needs of the presidency correspondence.

2- Overseeing.
- Vetting incoming mail, annotating, forwarding and making it ready, and sending it to the president to be signed in order to recirculate to relevant circles. This is to be done after getting the mail computerized.
- Carrying out the annotations and instructions of the University President regarding letters and notes already sent to the president.
- Forwarding and answering letters in case there is call for collecting answers by faculties or offices.
- Giving answers to queries by senior administrators and checkers.
- Receiving and orienting checkers properly and relevantly.

3- Drafting (putting down in writing)
- Drafting letters and decrees, preparing the correspondence of the president, and printing them out, whether these are requested by the president or sent to official circles.
- Drawing up memorandums and reports to the administration concerning achievement or obstacles of work.
- Drafting and overseeing daily work reports.

Divisions of the correspondence include 2 section (Mailing section ,Filling and supply section)

1. Mailing section includes: Incoming mail unit: It is concerned with computerizing electronic and manual incoming mail (paper, e-mail, fax, scanning). Mail unit: It is concerned with computerizing external and internal outgoing mail (paper, e-mail, fax, scanning).

2. Filling and supply section includes (Archive Branch office, Follow up Branch office) Archive and documentation office. It includes filing, computerized and manual files, and computerized archive system (scanning and computerized reports).

3. Overseeing office. It includes supervision, writing letters and notes, preparing memorandums, correspondence, and reports.
