Traditional methods are still taking over in the world of materials management, although they do not adequately meet site needs nor the overall management process. There is a consumption of labor’s capacity which affects on their productivity, time-consuming in receiving and inspecting materials. As well as the difficulty of obtaining good inventory control and accurate information about items. While there are some large companies around the world apply modern systems, the majority of them do not pay much attention to this matter. And so, this research has developed the RFID system to solve the administrative problems facing the material management on-site construction and facilitate tasks for project managers by providing all the requirements that support the system in a manner that suits each institution and its mechanism of work. Material management was reviewed through previous studies, field surveys, and interviews with site experts. Then, a questionnaire has been constructed to summarize the main problems of the management process. Accordingly, the modern system did the job in developing the concept of material management on site to overcome throwbacks of conventional methods and not leave gaps affecting the scheduling of implementation and avoid additional cost, as the materials have a considerable proportion of the overall construction budget
