In this thesis we will apply a newly developed and an efficient analytical method; the residual power series method (RPS) for the solution of a time-space unsteady and incompressible fractional Navier-Stokes equation. We will use the RPS method to generate the solution of the nonlinear fractional Navier-Stokes equation in two dimensions in the form of a rapidly convergent series, where we adopted the definition of Caputo to the fractional differential derivatives of space and time. We applied this technique to a test example from the literature which contained the full version of the Navier-Stokes equation, and a good agreement between the obtained results and the previous results has been demonstrated. The results reveal that the proposed method performs extremely well in terms of efficiency and simplicity and it can be utilized to solve more problems in the field of non-linear fractional differential equations (FDEs).
