The study aimed to identify the impact of Cyber Security dimensions (Security Countermeasures, Confidentiality, Integrity) on the Mitigation of Cyber Threats in its dimensions (level of threats, Types of threats, Threat origin) in the banking sector in Jordan. The study population consisted of employees in the banking sector in Jordan, totaling (22,973) employees. The researcher adopted a simple random sample from the study population, and the questionnaire was designed electronically using Google Forms. It was then distributed electronically via messaging applications such as Messenger and WhatsApp to the study sample of employees in the banking sector in Jordan. The total number of responses was (380) questionnaires, all of which were valid for analysis, forming a sample of (380) employees. The questionnaire included (30) items, and the overall score was calculated using a five-point Likert scale. To achieve the study's objectives, the descriptive analytical approach was employed using various statistical methods, the most notable being multiple regression analysis to determine the effect of the independent variable and its dimensions on the dependent variable. Statistical analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS.V.26). The study reached several results, the most prominent being: a positive statistically significant impact of Cyber Security dimensions (Security Countermeasures, Confidentiality, Integrity) on the Mitigation of Cyber Threats in its dimensions (level of threats, Types of threats, Threat origin) in the banking sector in Jordan. Based on the study results, several important recommendations were made, including: Jordanian banks should develop incident response plans and test them regularly, as well as emphasize the importance of imposing strict penalties for unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information within the bank.
