Dr. Ali Abu Nada, Head of Physics Department, gave a lecture at Princess Sumayya University for Technology entitled:
"Correcting Computer Errors with Limited Resources"
He pointed out that despite the importance of this computer in the fields of scientific research in various fields of physics, engineering, mathematics and computer science, there are many barriers and obstacles that limit the global manufacturing, the most important of these problems are errors and noises committed during computation. Therefore, the research conducted in this field is important and essential for correcting against those errors at the lowest cost and using modern techniques for this purpose.
He also talked about the development in the field of quantum computer manufacturing and that it is still uncommon because of its high cost and limited to some international research centers such as Google and NASA space.
The lecture was attended by members of the faculty and students. The lecture was part of the university's quest to introduce its students to the latest sciences in all fields.
