As part of the legislation activities of the Faculty of Law at Isra University, the faculty hosted his Excellency, Professor Numan El-Khatib, member of the constitutional court and ex- president of Isra University for a lecture in which the lecturer presented the legislative and historical developments of the constitutional legislature in Jordan. He focused on the late constitutional amendments and the role the constitutional court plays in securing rights and freedoms, in addition to preserving the sublimity and identity of the Jordanian state. The lecturer also shed light on the experiments of other countries in the field of constitutional legislature.
The lecture was attended by Professor Hamdi Qbeilat, dean of the Faculty, in addition to academic chairmen and a crowd of higher studies and B.A students. The lecture was enriched through legislation queries, and significant discussions on the theme of the lecture and on the constitutional legislation, and how to protect rights and freedoms.
